Hidden disabilities has it's own challenges
I know from personal experience if Luis is not in his wheelchair and is not reacting to something, many think he does not have a disability and I have had mixed reactions I could easily share. I also have an idea of some of the challenges faced, what would be great is to hear some experiences from those with hidden disabilities positive or not.
I spoke to someone last week at the Tes SEND event I attended, and they shared with me an experience of using the public transport and the general public not understanding that the individual has a disability. This is definitely a challenge faced regularly that I have heard before.
It would be good to get more insight to things the rest of us may never experience or things to share in general we may take for granted. So as always I hand over to you for now...
